International Herald Tribune and New York Times architecture critic Nicolai Ouroussoff dissects the relevance of architecture, fashion, and luxury in the midst of the global financial crisis after visiting Zaha Hadid‘s Chanel Pavilion in Central Park.  It is an absolutely brilliant and brutally honest piece on materialism smothering idealism. It’s great to see someone not drooling all over themselves while reviewing yet another architect collaboration.  A MUST MUST MUST read.
