Universal Health Chair

You can see from my posts that I love me a good chair. In 1938 Herman H. Sperlich designed one of my favorite ones for Ironrite Inc, USA – the Health Chair. I cant believe I love something that was designed to make women more comfortable while they did the ironing with the company’s machines – also pictured below (the one that looks like a cool vintage experimental medical contraption.) The Sperlich Health Chairs are almost impossible to find, and I recently missed one on ebay by just a few hours.
